IATA is an international trade body, created over 60 years ago by a group of airlines. Today, IATA represents some 230 airlines comprising 93% of scheduled international air traffic. The organization also represents, leads and serves the airline industry in general including ETA Logistics.

To be recognized as an IATA agent has become a hallmark of quality for the airlines and public at large. Any person involved in international airfreight and complying with appropriate licence and legal requirements may apply for registration as an IATA Cargo Agent.

BIFA is the trade association for UK-registered companies engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea. BIFA has around 1400 corporate members including ETA, known generally as freight forwarders, which offer a wide range of services within these various modes.

The management of ETA have been in logistics for over 20 years and emphasise the importance for an understanding of our customers. With past experience in private equity, engineering & retail- the breadth of market knowledge we bring to the table is passed on down into our operations.

Our drivers & operators are the lifeline of what we do so we believe they should exemplify the beliefs ETA was built on, therefore we always try to hire staff with past experience in a range of sectors or those who have picked up an understanding of our customers operations along the way.

Environment

ETA is always seeking ways to reduce its CO2 footprint year on year through in-house carbon reduction initiatives. Negating our impact on the environment is best achieved by reducing what we use and emit.

Reducing our negative impact on the environment is part of the culture at ETA and is part of our Kaizen (continuous improvement) program. We are always seeking for innovative ways to reduce our CO2 footprint and focus not only on in-house initiatives but also operations which help promote best-environmental-practice for our customers and their operations.
